How to Author: Faking a Setting by ben | Jan 18, 2017 | How to Author | 1 comment 1 Comment Cris on January 18, 2017 at 7:38 pm Thanks for this witty comeback on faking scenes. While I travel a lot, there are many places I haven’t been. So if I choose to write about it then I do a bit of research, especially if I describe a place, town, business, etc. If I cannot find enough quality information, especially since I write period novels, I don’t want to place a real store in the town at a wrong time period. Then I might really fake something. I love the internet for extra helps and pings as I call them to accent my writing, making it all so real. Good job Author!
