New Release: Tales of the Apocalypse

I’ve got a new book out but first I wanted to say thank you. The response to my Duck & Cover series has completely blown me away. It thrills me that so many people are enjoying reading the series as much as I am writing it. The comments and emails and everything have been a huge boost to my already overinflated ego and for that I thank you.

On to the news:

My latest book Tales of the Apocalypse is finally here!

It’s a collection of thirteen stories from the Duck & Cover universe that explores some of the characters we’ve met in the novels.

I loved writing this. The shorter story format allowed me to jump all over the apocalypse and tell all kinds of stories. Some are funny, some are action-packed and some are about a Beagle and a Great Dane named Fidget and Sasquatch.

Here’s a little more about the book:

From the pages of the best-selling Duck & Cover Adventures comes thirteen stories of those who survived the apocalypse. Some would go on to be heroes, others villains, some were dogs and will stay dogs, but they all must contend with the horrors of the new world and find a way to survive in the wasteland that was America.

  1. Just please tell us that the story of Jerry is not finished. I love the series and thank you so much for writing it.

  2. You sir, are a cad! Okay-just kidding. Seriously though, how can you leave us hanging like this? Do you have a timeframe for book 4+?

    • One person called me a lamo. That really took me back.
I’m finishing up the sequel to Junkers and then I’ll be digging into the follow up to Pursuit.

  3. I’m glad I found this series.I read the first book on a whim, loved it, then just blew through the rest. It’s good to know Jerry has some paper left. I was afraid it was a trilogy. Thanks Ben.

  4. First, awesome series. I’ve spent many hours reading and rereading the series, especially the Fidget and Watch stories. More importantly will Jerry meet Eve and the dogs in future installments? I think it’d be hilarious if they did

  5. Incredible series so far Ben, although I was more than distressed with the ending of the last one! We’ll give you some attitude under the somewhat dubious “creative license” clause., but failure to continue with the series in a timely fashion could result in the release of some less than flattering photos I created…err found on the internet. In all seriousness, please keep writing this fantastic and unique series!
